En «´Mala´ Llena Eres de Gracia», un documental coral, su historia se entrelaza con la de cuatro jóvenes que también se llaman María y que, como ella, fueron tachadas de «malas» por la sociedad: una grafitera, una rapera, una joven migrante y una guionista que lucha por abrirse camino. Juntas, sus historias exploran el precio que una mujer tiene que pagar para convertirse en sí misma.
María Rodríguez, known internationally as La Mala Rodríguez, is a Latin Grammy-winning pioneer and one of the most influential voices in Spanish-language hip hop. In “Mala Full of Grace”, a choral documentary, her story intertwines with that of four young women who are also named María and who, like her, were all labeled “mala” — bad — by society: a graffiti artist, a rapper, a young migrant, and a struggling screenwriter. Together, their stories explore the price a woman has to pay to become herself.
